Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Auto Omer Choudhary website (555 Beaumont Ave, Montréal) handles your personal information, in accordance with Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (CQLR, c. P-39.1, as amended by Law 25). The French version is authoritative.

In short

• This is a static informational website. The only personal information it collects is your name and phone number, and only if you book an appointment through the form.
• We set no cookies and use no tracking pixels. Our traffic measurement (Cloudflare Web Analytics) is cookieless and does not identify you.
• There are no user accounts and no newsletter.
• We do not sell personal information.

What the site collects: your booking request, nothing else

The booking card on the home page lets you choose your services, pick a slot from the shop's real availability, then enter your name and phone number. When you send the request, that information — the services chosen, the slot, your name, and your phone number — is transmitted, through our host (Cloudflare), to Square (see below) to create the appointment. It is used for nothing else; we keep no copy of it on systems of our own outside Square. Until you send the request, nothing leaves your browser. You can also book an appointment by phone at any time.

Your display preferences (light or dark theme, your reading position when switching languages) are stored locally in your browser (localStorage / sessionStorage) and never leave your device. Fonts are hosted with the site itself: no requests are made to Google's font servers.

Cookies and hosting

We set no cookies. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages; like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data (such as IP addresses) to deliver pages and protect the site, and may set, on its own behalf, cookies that are strictly necessary for security (for example, bot protection). That processing is governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy.

To understand site traffic we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless measurement tool: it produces aggregate statistics (page views, performance) without identifying visitors and without following your browsing across other sites.

Online booking (Square)

The shop's appointment calendar is managed by Square Appointments. When you book through the form on our site, we collect your name and phone number and communicate them to Square, which acts as our service provider to create the appointment, put it on the shop's calendar, and send you its confirmation and reminder messages (text or email). That information is hosted by Square on servers located in the United States, outside Québec, and Square's processing of it is governed by Square's privacy policy.

If the form on our site is unavailable, the booking card becomes a plain link to the booking page hosted by Square (not a module embedded in ours): the information you enter there — the time slot you choose, your name, and your phone number — is collected directly by Square, under the same policy.

In both cases, the only information requested is your name and phone number, used solely to schedule, confirm, and follow up on your appointment.

External links and Google data

The site links to third-party sites, notably Google (directions, reviews) and Square (booking). Those sites have their own privacy policies, which we do not control. The opening hours, rating, and review count shown on the site come from the shop's own Google Business Profile.

Your rights

Under the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (P-39.1), you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and withdraw your consent to its use — including the name and phone number provided when booking online, as well as information provided by phone or in person. Send any request or complaint to the person responsible below; you may also contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
